Why this product
-
01
8-inch cavities for higher Q and 350 W continuous-duty handling
-
02
Same > 85 dB suppression as 6-inch with steeper skirt response
-
03
Premium choice for congested sites or high-density tower co-location
Technical brief
When the 6-inch is not enough
The 8-inch cavity raises Q-factor and thermal margin. Same > 85 dB suppression as the 6-inch BPBR but with 350 W continuous-duty handling and steeper skirt response — useful at congested sites where the 6-inch unit runs hot or comes close to spec.
Trade-offs
Deeper chassis (672 mm vs 411 mm), heavier (38 kg vs 30 kg) — verify rack depth before ordering. For most VHF repeaters, the 6-Inch 6-Cavity VHF Duplexer (BPBR) is the right answer.
